SVOD
Subscription video on demand, where users pay a monthly or annual fee for unlimited access to a library of content. SVOD services are ad-free and include a variety of content, such as movies, TV shows, and live channels. Examples of SVOD services include Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max.

AVOD
Advertising-based video on demand, where users access content for free in exchange for viewing advertisements. AVOD monetizes content by embedding advertisements within it.  A hybrid model, known as HVOD (hybrid video on demand), is becoming more popular.
